Inaugural Benefit Soirée @ Kunstmuseum Basel

Under the leadership of director Elena Filipovic, Kunstmuseum Basel has entered an exciting new chapter. Last summer, the museum hosted its inaugural Benefit Soirée in the courtyard of its historic building during the weekend preceding Art Basel. The exclusive charity event in support of Kunstmuseum Basel’s program paid tribute to contemporary artists Nairy Baghramian and Pamela Rosenkranz. An immediate success, the evening welcomed a distinguished gathering of illustrious guests and quickly became one of the most coveted highlights of the Art Basel program.

Wunderland was responsible for the concept and execution, including guest management and the coordination of catering by Tanja Grandits and her team—led by the acclaimed chef herself, who holds two Michelin stars and an impressive 19 Gault&Millau points. We are delighted to once again bring to life the Benefit Soirée in 2026.

Miele Launch @ Gut Böckel

Over four days, Miele unveiled its new outdoor kitchen to a curated audience of trade professionals, press representatives, and social media influencers.

More than 400 guests from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland convened at Gut Böckel, nestled in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia to celebrate the launch of this exciting new product category, „Outdoor Cooking.”

On a grand stage set within the historic cowshed, the modules of the new outdoor kitchen, „Dreams,” were revealed one by one with great emotion, followed by an immersive outdoor program—perfectly embodying the event’s motto: „Let’s Go Outside!“

As the lead agency, Wunderland assumed full responsibility for the concept development, technical and artistic direction, architectural design, staffing, coordination of all trades, flawless on-site execution, and meticulous budget management.

Miele Partner Days @ Miele Experience Center

No present without a past, no future without a present. ‘Milestones for the present!’ was the motto of the Miele Partner Days 2024 in occasion of the 125^th anniversary year.

1100 guests were invited to the Experience Centre in Spreitenbach near Zurich for the second Miele Partner Days. Innovations and world firsts were presented at 15 events over a period of 8 days. A fascinating, entertainig and varied journey through the world of Miele.

Wunderland had both the creative lead and overall responsibily for execution of the event.

Thrilled by this huge success: Our baby has learned to walk and is developing into a true globetrotter. Wunderland’s immersive „MagicMirror“ opens a new universe for the art, products and content in a multiplying, multidimensional and multiscalable way. This captiviating experience specially created for the „Electric AI Canvas“ premiered in Basel went global. After @artbasel / Switzerland the journey went on with stops @frieze.seoul / Korea and @contemporaryistanbul / Turkey.

The Pulse of Every Kitchen

Miele @ Salone del Mobile

Miele is back for its 125^th anniversary at Eurocucina in Milan, the world’s most relevant biennial kitchen trade fair and part of Salone del Mobile. Therefore Miele has developed a new booth concept and design.

With the new intriguing, strategic and overarching trade fair concept “The Pulse of Every Kitchen” Miele presents for the very first time new innovations not by category but as one stop solution for kitchen developers, builders and lovers.

Guests first pass through the “Ignition Gate” with its captivating sound and light installations and embark on a journey through the three core themes: 125 years of Miele, Smart Home and Sustainability.

Surfacing and Surfacing II

BMW @ Art Basel

A captivating installation of sound, dance performance and humancentric technology.

With Surfacing Es Devlin has created a seven-minute configuration of water, voice, light and dance. This multimedia work features dance performances by renowned Parisian choreographer Sharon Eyal and music by London-based duo Polyphonia.

A cube of rain was the centerpiece of this immersive installation in which the seven-minute “Ritual” was presented every hour. With each of her works, Es Devlin continues her 30-year exploration of the intertwined dance, human bodies and technology.

Together with Zibert & Friends, Wunderland was responsible for the conceptual realisation on site, architecture, technology, light & sound, security and the coordination of all suppliers before and during Art Basel in Basel.

Subway is an American multinational fast food restaurant franchise that specializes in submarine sandwiches, wraps, salads, and drinks. Since the sale in 2023, the globally active group has been undergoing a change process that will significantly affect all stakeholders, franchisees, departments and employees. A multi-day congress with an evening event was organised for the DACH-countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Wunderland was responsible for the counselling in the early finding process, location determination, location research, architecture, media production, catering, negotiation with service providers up until order placement, security, implementation, on-site support, naming, graphic design and central management of all partners and suppliers.

„The Electric AI Canvas“ showcases the teamwork between Artdrunk founder Gary Yeh, creative technologist Nathan Shipley, Zibert+friends and BMW Group. Wunderland is excited to be part of this immersive co-creation. As specialist in creative and forward-thinking brand staging for discerning target groups we are responsible for booth design, technical concept and execution.

This collaboration integrates BMW’s DNA, combining Innovation, Technology, Design & Art by exploring the intersection of art and AI by transforming the new BMWi 5 into an ever-changing canvas of generative art. It comes to life in an awe-inspiring art and tech installation featuring contemporary artists Esther Mahlangu, Bin Woo Hyuk, Nawa Kohei, Koo Jiyoon and Eric N. Mack.

50 Years of BMW Group Culture

The BMW Group’s cultural engagement centres for more than 50 years on the belief that corporate citizenship and intercultural dialogue are the foundation of any internationally successful company.

WUNDERLAND had the task of developing a concept for an adequate and exclusive location for the anniversary, developing a wide-ranging and pandemic-considered event that could be modified at short notice and uses digital and classic communication channels. We have succeeded in presenting this unique event in the exclusive extension of the Kunstmuseum Basel using analogue as well as augmented reality in order to bridge an arc between the past and the future.

Pulsetopology @ DesignMiami

Coinciding with Art Basel and Design Miami, we celebrated the opening of #pulsetopology created by the Mexican artist Rafael Lozano Hemmer. This immersive biometric artwork consisted of 6,000 light bulbs poetically floating in space – each of them representing the heartbeat of a visitor. The collaboration between BMW Group Culture, Superblue and ZIBERT + FRIENDS brought all of us to this point where human-centric technology meets art. It was co-creation at its absolute best!

Social Media Campaign for Graubünden

The Swiss Canton Graubünden has it all—spectacular landscapes, mountain ranges, lakes, secluded valleys, age-old forests, abandoned villages, organic farms and restaurants, impressive nature and wildlife, polo games, and the jet set in St. Moritz. It even has a surprisingly diverse art and culture scene. The canton is down-to-earth and rooted in tradition. It’s a source of inspiration and strength, as well as home to many significant artists, creatives, and unconventional thinkers. Graubünden is and always was extremely diverse, multicultural, multilingual, and international. Graubünden Tourism asked for a social media campaign that would present the popular tourism region in a new light, showing off this cultural diversity and creatives from all fields and disciplines. We were in charge of consulting, concept, and implementation. Here’s a selection of the portraits.

It’s already the fourth time we’re leading the conception and realization of the BMW Reception and Meet the Artist & Talk during Art Basel in Switzerland. This year we’re presenting Daan Roosegaarde’s interactive installation ‘SYNC’ in Voltahalle, which is inspired by the BMW Vision iNEXT and explores themes of human connectivity. Between VIP guests and walk-ins on the public days, the event attracts over 800 visitors. The soundscape was created by Tale of Us. Cooperation with ZIBERT + FRIENDS.
